Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Hon’ble Mr. Akhilesh Yadav inaugurated the newly constructed branch of Lucknow Public School at Aseni Mod, Barabanki by unveiling the stone. In addition to this, the former Chief Minister also inaugurated the Umrai Singh Memorial Auditorium and Swimming Pool of the school. Before the inauguration, he planted a sapling of Parijat tree in the school premises and presented Angavastram and fruit baskets to 50 workers. In this program of the inauguration ceremony, Hon’ble Dr. S. P. Singh, Ex MLC and Founder and General Manager of Lucknow Public Schools & Colleges, and Hon’ble Mrs. Kanti Singh, Ex MLC and Administrative Head of Lucknow Public Schools & Colleges congratulated Hon’ble Mr. Akhilesh Yadav through their welcome speeches and also wished him a happy birthday. Dr. S. P. Singh said, “This branch of Lucknow Public School will prove to be a milestone in the growth and development of the educational graph of Barabanki district.” Children's swimming competition was also organized in the newly constructed swimming pool of the school and the winners – in boys category- Hariom (first), Shwetank Prakash Verma (second), Akshat Yadav (third) and in girls category – Gayatri (first), Ambika (second) and Jagriti Agrahari (third) were also rewarded by the Chief Guest.
In his address, Hon’ble Mr. Akhilesh Yadav said, “ This institution will ensure the future of lakhs of children. It is one of the best institutions of the country. There is no greater weapon than education. The countries which increased the quality of their education developed.” He expressed his gratitude saying that he was thankful to Dr. S. P. Singh that he provided him an opportunity to plant a sapling of Parijat in the school premises on the occasion of his birthday. He also announced, on behalf of Dr. S. P. Singh, that the management of LPS would shortly get a new stadium built in Barabanki, from where national-international level players will bring laurels to the country. MD Mr. Sushil Kumar, expressed a vote of thanks.
